"Champagne Watchout"
Done in inspirational tribute to the Tennessee Walking horse that made history as the first light shod walker to be entered and shown against the 'Big Lick' performance Walkers in decades. Originally banned from showing their horse

Nathanael Jackson and his family led a long legal battle and won their right to show their stallion in a battle that will forever be remembered for it's controversy to the sport of gaited Tennessee Walking Horses. Refusing to make their horse wear the heavy, cumbersome keg pads Tennessee Walkers known as "Big Lick" Walkers wear to make them lankly lope around the show ring in an awkwardly, unnatural, high-stepping gait that levels out to be nothing more than a fancy LIMP.

In appreciation of the Jackson's contribution to the rebellion of this cruel practise done to horses of this breed by taking "Watchout"  all the way to the Championships, and facing obstacles bigger than they ever expected, this model has been done as a portrait of "Champagne Watchout" Symbolically used for the parked out NATURAL position of this custom model, an original Breyer Midnight Sun Big Lick Walker model.

It just goes to show, that with a little effort... they can all be brought out of their cruel high-stepping gaits.

This very unique wall hanging was recently presented to us by Jennie's Mom,
 my Mother-ln-Law

What I am told this technique is called

"Piece Quilting",

Handmade with her tie-dying pieces of cloth, each piece if you look very closely is layed in place and sewn

Amazing!!!!

This plaster casting of Champagne Watchout
was the first piece anyone presented to us lovingly crafted by
The Late Myra Troth
of
Ojai, California

Anava Guttman of Israel visted and stayed with us several times learning the trade from Jennie

While here she free hand drew the likeness of Watchout on a wooden fruit basket.

She is a veery good artist so we asked her to fiddle around and make us a logo off a preliminary drawing by Jennie
and this is the results

Artist Theresa Bilbrey of Cookeville, Tennessee created the cover for our videotape series.

Here we have Watchout at the blackboard teaching
the horses Triumphant and Joyful about the different
types of human riders they need to know about,

The Cowboy, The English Rider and Trail Rider.

He also teaches about the different saddle, bits, and bridle.

While Delight's Trump Card watches the barn door for humans that might be coming.
