We've been filling out forms, doing multiple blood test and getting Homeland Security Clearances
and Credentials for the Games...very intense but we understand the reasons why, they say they
expect over 600,000 people to attend the Games, over 60 Countries will have horses there.

Support for what is going to take to fulfill this for us is very skinny, times are tough for everybody
and loosing the purse strings is tough but we remain steadfast in seeing this through.
August 5, 2010  (Excerpt From NWHA Website)

USEF UNANIMOUSLY approves NWHA as National Affiliate Association

At the August 2, 2010 Board of Directors Meeting, the United States Equestrian Federation Inc. “unanimously” approved the
National Walking Horse Association’s application for “National” affiliation membership.

“National” affiliation membership is just one “category” of the different affiliation memberships offered by the Federation
where equestrian-related groups or individuals have formed a national association or organization (USEF Rule GR204.1.c).
Note:  This should not be confused with a USEF “Recognized” Association membership where the organization’s rules have
been included in the Federation’s rule book and where that affiliate’s horse shows are governed by USEF.

The Federation’s approval of the National Walking Horse Association as a National Association creates a joint business
relationship and international platform for NWHA to further their mission of promoting the sound, “Naturally Gaited” Walking
Horse while providing a fair and level playing field for all exhibitors.

NWHA is proud to partner with USEF which leads the industry as the National Governing Body for Equestrian Sport.  Both
organizations exhibit only the highest integrity, passion, dedication, and commitment to excellence with the welfare of horse
and rider above all else.

This high honor sets the stage for the many and exciting upcoming NWHA events.  The National Walking Horse Association’
s National Championship horse show (the largest flatshod competition in the country) will be held September 27 through
October 2 at Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, TN.
Simultaneously, NWHA will be the sole representative of the Tennessee
Walking Horse at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky.
 Live horse demonstrations will take
place Sept. 29 through Oct. 2 while our promotional booth will be on site throughout the entire length of the games.

This is GREAT!...and we are very happy to see our breed make the “Crossover” into the mainstream equine community, this
is what we at Walkin On Ranch has been working towards for decades and are proud to have made significant contributions
towards this great distinction.

While NWHA has made a embarrassing, and telling false claim as:
“NWHA will be the sole representative of the Tennessee
Walking Horse at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky. “

We are glad they are there, we have for years shown alongside ALL of those neat people and horses riding The Tennessee
Walking Horse from NWHA. (they are like our soldiers fighting in our wars, they are Not the issue or problem  it's the officials
of the org, who know better, yet, they still do as they do.)

Walkin On Ranch of Cookeville, Tennessee were Formally Invited by The WEGs as The Official Breed Representative of The
Tennessee Walking Horse
months before NWHA purchased their booth & exhibition spot and we are the only exhibitor listed
as Tennessee Walking Horses. To keep the record straight as no one likes “Interlopers” we were only one of two
Independent Exhibitors to represent a
Breed of Horse.

Whereas, NWHA will exhibit in The Parade of Breeds along with other group breed demonstrations, we have our own
separate headlining showcase and dates along with the other great world performers.

While NWHA has not invited us to share their booth at the games although we have been active members, exhibitors,
supporters and Jennie a licensed judge with them for years, we were invited to be boothed with our friend
TOMMIE TURVEY.

NWHA seems to have a problem claiming us as one of their own. This is not a sour grapes scenario, this is a lifetime of
dedication, sacrifices and real time actions to get to this point in not only our lives, but our careers, only to have folks try to
put us down.

So, it is incumbent on us to at least keep the record straight.

Backstory:

NWHA was formed September of 1998 as a direct result of our bringing to public light the issues of The Padded and
Pleasures Horse in our breed, just weeks after our July/August 1998 much publicized campaign to show at The National
Celebration in The World Grand Championship Class with our Pleasure Horse against the Padded Horse.

We are and will continue to support NWHA, it would just be awfully nice if they reciprocated the same to us. At the very
least                                                                                   R-E-S-P-E-C-T
